Music Ministry

The music ministry at Eastside strives to provide music to help prepare and lead the congregation in worship.  The desire is to see people drawn to Christ in a personal relationship with him.  Throughout God's Word, music and worship seems to always go together.  We hope and pray that as we sing and worship God in each of our services you will do the same with us.

Kids for the King: This program is for preschool through 6th grade.  The children perform songs during worship services throughout the year as well as learn about Jesus and his teachings.  They also enjoy fellowship together and celebrate milestones and accomplishments.  This group always gets excited when new faces join the group.

Adult Choir:  The adult choir leads our congregation in worship every Sunday morning during worship services.  The choir does special concerts during the year as well as our annual Christmas program.  They meet every Wednesday night at 7:45PM in the choir loft.  All are welcome.  If you like to sing and love the Lord, come to practice and join. We would love to have you and we promise to make you feel welcomed!

Eastside Messengers:  This group of men minister to the senior adults in our area by visiting and performing for them.  They meet every Monday night to either practice or perform. Newcomers are welcome. This group gets as much out of seeing the joy in the faces of the seniors as the seniors do in hearing them perform.  It's a WinWin group to be a member of.

Praise Band:  The praise band began in October of 2011 and currently provides the music for at least one service per month.  The band is currently practicing for Easter.  This will be the first service that the band will provide all of the music for the service including the choir specials.  We are always looking to increase our band by adding additional members and instruments.  If you can play an instrument and are willing to practice on Sunday nights immediately after the evening worship service for no more than an hour, please contact the church office or Brandon Grigg.
