ACTS Ministry

Our church voted to adopt the ACTS Ministry Plan last fall. There are six broad areas of ministry which encompass numerous specific

ministries designed to allow every member of the church to use his or her specific gifts and talents for the glory of God. To learn more

The purpose of this ministry is to achieve Christ-like maturity through Education & Discipleship based wholly on the Word of God. "It was

He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors, and teachers to prepare God's

people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of

God and become mature, obtaining to the whole measure of the fullness of God." Esphesians 4:11-13 For more information click here for link.

The purpose of this ministry is to oversee the outreach and mission endeavors of Eastside Baptist Church. "Go ye therefore and make

disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things

that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

The purpose of this ministry is to promote fellowship among the members of Eastside Baptist Church. "Let us consider one another in order

to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so

much more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

In addition to dealing with all matters that keep Eastside Baptist Church operating smoothing and efficiently, this ministry encourages the

church in all matters of tithing and biblical stewardship. "Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together,

and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38

The purpose of this ministry is to encourage youth and children in their growth in God's word and to help them develop their ministry and seek

to honor Jesus Christ with their lives by connecting with one another. "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in

word, in spirit, in faith, in purity." I Timothy 4:12

The purpose of this ministry is to plan and supervise all activities related to our actual worship services and all special services. "Oh come,

let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep

of His hand." Psalm 95:6-7a
